So then in 1966 they returned and won the 24 hours of Le Mans. Then they won it again three more times in a row. Then 50 years later, Ford returned to the famous race with a brand-new Ford GT. This time the big V-8 was replaced with a 3.5-liter Twin-Turbo Eco Boost V-6 with intercoolers. It won the extremely competitive GTE-Pro class and celebrated a triumphant return.
